I'd guess this was taken some time around 1894-95.
Dad (Howard Jr.) gave me the box (a rectangular basket in reality) of Metella King's genealogical research files. I've scanned them in to preserve electronically and share with family members who would be interested.
These photos were loose in the basket. I've put the smaller ones in envelopes for ease of location. These images also include several small framed photos - they aren't in envelopes. There were two photo albums - the photos from these are presented on separate web pages, linked below.
